Workshops
Eurochild provides poetry workshops with schools and youth groups.
Based on Edward De Bonos 6 thinking hats the workshop programme explores
the possibilities of the imagingation, emotions and of course the craft
of poetry. The children are also encouraged to reflect on the work that
they produce and to develop the skills to constuructively citicise their
work. and the work of others develop the powers of obsevation and encourgaging
critical thinking
Poetry Ireland provides part funding to schools to engage a poet or
writer to faciliate workshops as part of its writers in schools programme.
